Happy Sunday Folks! 10.12.14

I should be tackling some of these real estate books today, or at least taking some photos with my beloved camera however, I don't see that happening.  I'm not really in the mood to do much of anything today.  It's still early, not even 9 a.m. so that may change.  I'm not holding my breath though.  I'm totally okay with doing nothing today.  My mental health days have come to an end and it's back to work tomorrow...sigh.  I love my job but Mondays are always brutal with the amount of work to be done.  When I was interviewed for the position, my boss told me that I would not get all of Monday's work done on Monday. It's definitely more work than can be done in a 4 hour shift.

I have been working on my real estate flash cards, and I'm on #376 of 500.  Go me!  Now to save some money to take the actual class and to get my license.  Anybody out there willing to donate to my cause, let me know.  I work part-time and every time I think I will be able to pay for the class and the license, life happens and once again, it's put on hold.  I mean, I guess by now I could have just paid for it with a credit card but I'm no longer using those so that's not an option anymore. Oh well, it will happen when it's supposed to happen. People think introverts can't be real estate agents.  I totally disagree. Unlike regular sales, people are coming to you with a specific need, a big need...housing, and I love houses. It would be much easier for me to try and sell a couple on a starter home over trying to get someone to purchase the latest shade of MAC lipstick for example.  I don't know the first thing about lipstick. In fact, my 18 year old has helped me choose a beautiful earth tone color with a hint of pink (my favorite color by the way).  I'm excited but I haven't purchased it yet. I guess I should do that on our next trip to the store together since I keep forgetting the name and the brand LOL.

Okay, I think I will work on my flash cards while it's still peaceful and quiet in the house.
